Sheeling Neo is an Assistant Professor at American University and a former visiting doctoral student at the Better Government Lab. Her research focuses on identity processes among public employees and the related influence of the bureaucratic and sociopolitical environment, specifically in understanding how different people utilize their identity in the face of challenges or threats. She is also interested in the role of discrimination in citizen-state interactions and running experiments to solve real world problems.
