Krista Ruffini

Krista Ruffini is an Assistant Professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University and an affiliate with the Better Government Lab. She is an economist whose research analyzes how government policies targeted to disadvantaged populations affect labor market, education, and health outcomes. One area of work examines the effect of income and nutritional assistance programs on children's wellbeing. Another strand of work examines how workplace policies affect employees, employers, and patients in the healthcare sector. Prior to graduate school she worked at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, the Council of Economic Advisers, and the House of Commons (UK).
