Amira Boland is an Affiliate Faculty at the McCourt School of Public Policy and the Better Government Lab. She is the Chief of Staff at the New Practice Lab, a research and design lab focused on family economic security for all Americans, working at the nexus of policy making and service delivery. Prior to New America, Boland was the first-ever lead for Federal Customer Experience (CX) at the Office of Management and Budget in the Executive Office of the President. She was the chief architect of President Biden's Executive Order on Customer Experience, and established the team responsible for driving Federal CX efforts, including designing a cross-agency "Life Experience" framework that has been built upon by other OECD countries.
